Effective August 25, 2026
Charlotte Swim Society ("we," "us," or "our") operates cltswimsociety.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you submit a form on our site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, mobile phone number, your scheduling preferences, and when you'd like to begin lessons. If you enroll, we also collect information necessary to deliver lessons safely, including the swimmer's name, age, and any health conditions or allergies you choose to disclose.
We also automatically collect standard technical information when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring source. We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta advertising pixel, to understand how visitors find and use our site.
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and confirm appointments, send appointment reminders, deliver swim instruction safely, process payments, and — where you have separately consented — send marketing and promotional messages. We also use aggregate technical information to measure and improve our advertising.
If you provide your mobile number and check the applicable consent box, we may send you text messages.
Non-marketing messages include appointment confirmations, scheduling coordination, reminders, and account updates. Marketing messages include promotions, special offers, and program announcements, and require separate consent that you may decline without affecting your ability to book or enroll.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or scheduling providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business — our scheduling and CRM platform, our payment processor, and our email and SMS providers — and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the safety of a participant.
Our services are provided to children, but our website is directed to parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. Information about a child enrolled in our programs is provided by a parent or guardian and is used solely to deliver instruction safely. Parents and guardians may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information by contacting us.
We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and use the Meta pixel to measure the performance of our ads. You can control how your information is used for advertising through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
We keep inquiry and lead information for one year, and enrollment and safety records for as long as required by our insurer and applicable law. You may request deletion of your information at any time, subject to those requirements.
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, stop text messages by replying STOP, and request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us at the address below.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version.
